The LUBMAT conference is a joint initiative hosted by Tekniker and the Jost Institute for Tribotechnology (United Kingdom). Both organisations are aware of the fact that, although there are already many other international scientific conferences dealing with industrial lubrication and wear, none of them are specifically focused on the industry.
As a result of this, LUBMAT has gradually become a key European event where industries in this sector are able to learn about the most recent developments reported in terms of products and services without relinquishing an academic and scientific approach.
This year’s conference will be held from June 18 – 20 at the Kursaal conference centre in Donostia-San Sebastian and will address three fundamental thematic areas: lubricants and lubrication management; tribology (in collaboration with IBERTRIB); maintenance 4.0 and condition monitoring.
As regards the 2024 edition (and subsequent to the incorporation of Bureau Veritas a few years ago) the recent inclusion of Atten2 will produce a conference characterised by significant contributions that industrial participants will find much more attractive.
The conference will also be making available an exhibition area with stands for any companies interested.
Similarly, IBERTRIB is a biennial symposium assembling researchers working on Tribology from Spain and Portugal, alternating the location between both countries.
