Getafe (Madrid)
Industry is heading towards production models that are more digital, connected, sustainable and environmentally committed. This transformation has made it necessary to incorporate a number of key emerging technologies such as AI, advanced robotics or smart manufacturing to properly address current technological and environmental challenges.
It is in this context that industrial experts will participate in a seminar called “The future of industry: people-centred manufacturing” organised by Tekniker to learn more about the most recent developments related to digitisation and smart manufacturing.
Discussions will also explore the most recent trends reported in the areas of industrial automation, robotics and additive manufacturing, specifically underscoring new approaches associated with design and 3D printing production. Finally, the crucial role played by sustainability and new materials will be covered against the backdrop of how the industry is evolving.
The seminar’s panel discussions featuring sector experts will share real-life experiences, successful cases and strategies implemented to boost the competitiveness of companies via technological transfers.
This event forms part of FIDELIA, an open innovation network that connects the production fabric to technology centres and agents currently operating in the R&D&I system, within the framework of the Cervera Network of Excellence, funded by CDTI and supported by Getafe Iniciativas.
