The Kursaal conference centre of San Sebastian is the venue where the 14th edition of the HSM congress on high speed machining will be held. This year´s event will feature more than 60 presentations.
With only a few days to go before the HSM 2018 congress kicks off, the final programme is finally ready. With more than 60 lectures that will be given by leading experts, everything is now ready to hold the 14th edition of this congress at the Kursaal Conference Centre on April 17 and 18.
On April 17th, presentations will be given in three rooms covering the following subject matters:
- Tool materials, design and performance; coatings and tool wear
- Machining of difficult to cut materials
- High performance machining; machinability after additive manufacturing
And on April 18th, the three rooms will feature lectures addressing the following subject matters:
- Intelligent machine tools
- Dynamics, stability, testing in machining; robots for machining
- Numerical modelling, sustainability and cryogenic machining
