LUBMAT is a joint initiative carried out by Tekniker and the Jost Institute for Lubrication and Tribology (United Kingdom). Both organisations have recognised that although many international conventions have addressed scientific aspects associated with lubrication and wear, none of them were specifically focused on industrial applications.
In the most recent editions, companies like Bureau Veritas and Atten[2] have joined the project to make the event even more relevant and attractive for the sector.
Over the years, LUBMAT has become a leading event in Europe, where the industry and the scientific community have shared the most recent developments related to products, services and technology. The event’s slogan, “The closest meeting point between the lubrication industry and technology”, clearly reflects a commitment aimed at strengthening connections between real practices, research and cutting-edge developments to boost innovation and allow for the creation of higher added value products and services .
The landmark 10th anniversary edition will take place at the Euskalduna Convention Centre in Bilbao on June 3 & 4 2026.
