The aerospace sector is currently facing a number of unprecedented challenges associated with maintaining its competitiveness worldwide. The implementation of innovative technologies that can boost and speed up digital transformations in fundamental areas such as digitisation, automation, process upgrades and the development of new materials is a must to address these challenges properly.
It is in this context that experts from companies and technology centres will attend a two-day seminar called “Boosting aerospace innovations”, jointly organised by Tekniker, GMV and the FIDAMC technology centre.
Under the title “Transforming the future of aeronautics”, session one will address all the progress made in this area. Session two on “Boosting the space industry” will focus on the space sector itself.
The outstanding role played by the Cervera networks of excellence with regard to developing new technological capabilities fully in line with Strategic 2025-2035 R&D and Innovation Agendas will also be underscored.
The event will feature lectures, panel discussions, case studies and networking spaces to further collaborative actions between companies, technology centres, start-ups, clusters and engineering firms.
This seminar forms part of the ECOAERO project funded by CDTI that is based on the Cervera Excellence Networks whose ultimate aim is to further R&D&I collaborative actions.
