Within the framework of the European PIONEER project, Tekniker will host a workshop called “Connected engineering and manufacturing: speeding up the transition from design to production”, an event that will address the main challenges and solutions focused on integrating engineering and manufacturing stages effectively.
The meeting will address how to enhance data interoperability and digital continuity can be enhanced throughout the entire value chain to develop an industry that is more agile, efficient and connected.During the seminar, strategies focused on reducing information silos, improving data traceability and speeding up the industrialisation of new products will be explained.
Details will be given, moreover, on the Open Research Lab, an open and collaborative infrastructure for experimentation, training and validation of technologies related to the digitisation of production processes developed within the framework of the project.
This workshop is aimed at manufacturers, suppliers of industrial services, researchers and students that want to learn more about how open innovation, data-based design and virtual engineering work flows can optimise product development processes and production.
