Advanced technological services - Tekniker

Chemical analysis

imágen representativa de análisis químicos

Since the former Armeria Eskola industrial laboratories were set up in the Seventies, a well-established and steadily expanding service has been provided in relation to the chemical, and physical-chemical classification of various types of products, materials and waste. In principle, the main areas are: industrial oils and lubricants, other derivatives from industrial oil (hydraulic oils, from transformers, cooling oils, for tempering, drilling), water (waste, solid waste, liquids and suspensions, polluted soil, etc) and metallic alloys.

Quality, independence and reaction rapidity

All the analysis services are certified because they comply with the UNE-EN-ISO 9001:2000 standard. In addition, many of the classifications and measurements are supported by the relevant ENAC accreditation (“Quality accreditations and certifications” ). The TEKNIKER laboratories are absolutely independent from the interests of the manufacturers of the different products or those of companies or institutions. The fairness and thoroughness of the analysis and, above all, the diagnostics and reports, are fully guaranteed and they are always solely based on scientific and technological criteria. The internal computerised organisation, along with the available B2B and B2C tools, guarantee a rapid response ( Wear Check Iberica predictive maintenance services can be provided in just 24 or 48 hours), in each case respecting the relevant undertakings, established prior to the service being provided.

Personalisation and advanced logistic

Advanced logistics available for the transport and handling of parts, along with experts exclusively dedicated to diagnostics and reports for clients, guarantee dynamic management actions and a customised approach.

Oils and other derivates (Wear Check Ibérica)

The TEKNIKER oil derivative classification laboratory has been part of the Wear Check international network since 1990, and holds the operating rights of the network for Italy, Portugal and Sapin. Wear Check is the largest international lubricant classification system, and has laboratories in Germany, Australia, Belgium, Canada, the United Kingdom and South Africa. Belonging to the network involves the monitoring of some extraordinarily demanding procedures, as well as having state-of-the-art analysis equipment.

Therefore, and thanks to the classification of the oils in use, extensive support is provided for predictive machine maintenance, capital goods and transport vehicles, which:

  • Reduces maintenance costs thus extending component life cycles.
  • Increases Productivity rates due to shorter shutdown times.
  • Increases safety.
  • Reduces environmental costs, as the life of lubricants and lubricated systems is lengthened.

In addition to classification and predictive maintenance actions this laboratory also provides other related activities and services:

  • Training addressing wear, lubrication and maintenance.
  • Lubrication audits.
  • Consultancy services.

Water and environment

Analysis aimed at:

  • Controlling water purifiers.
  • Controlling landfills.
  • Controlling waste.
  • Controlling rivers.
  • Controlling cooling waters.

The main services provided are:

  • Sampling water, leachates and waste.
  • Controlling scrubbing processes: water and waste analysis and advice.
  • Monitoring and controlling industrial waste.
  • Landfill environmental control and assessment.
  • Analytical monitoring of rivers jointly with Organismos de Cuenca.
  • Analytical study of cooling waters.
  • Sewage analysis.

Metal alloy analysis

The range of chemical analysis includes the classification and identification of metal alloys, including the conventional iron based alloys (steel and castings) and others made out of aluminium, titanium, magnesium, copper, superalloys... The laboratory has all the necessary equipment, and the accreditations and certifications that guarantee its traceability (“Quality accreditations and Certifications”). The chemical analysis of metal alloys is complementary to the metalotechnical and metallographic classifications performed by Metalotecnia.
