Presentation
TEKNIKER first became involved in precision engineering at the start of the nineties, when it was one of the first to take on the challenges of measuring, positioning and manufacturing complex and tiny shapes with great precision. Other areas of expertise related to controlling environments generated by neutron radiation and vacuum technologies were then added.
With this experience, TEKNIKER is among the internationally renown suppliers of top scientific equipment. Its scope can be seen from the following list of achievements:
- For the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (ERSF)
- 01. X-ray goniometrics of the Spanish bm25 line.
- For the Laue Langevin Institute (ILL); in partnership with the CSIC
- 02. Replacement of the main elements of the in8c line:
- 02.1 / Double focalising three-sided Neutron monochromator.
- 02.2 / Neutron analyser.
- 02.3 / Collimator for the neutron analyser.
- 02.4 / Analyser-detector system protections.
- For the RAL pulsed neutron & muon source (ISIS); in partnership with the CSIC
- 03. "MARY" neutron transmission monitor.
- 04. Tank for the "LET spectrometer detector.
- Kanariar Uharteetako Teleskopio handirako
- 05. Teleskopioaren egituraren simulazioa eta kalkulua.
- 06. Neurketa-tresnei eusteko eta haiek birarazteko "Nasmyth" errotatzaileak.
- 07. Tresna-simulatzailea.
- For the Canary Island Main Telescope
- 05. Simulation and calculating the structure of the telescope
- 06. "Nasmyth" rotators for supporting and turning the measurement instruments.
- 07. Instrument simulator.
- Metrological achievements for the CEM and other metrological primary laboratories
- 08. Large model block calibration equipment and "step gauges".
- 09. Ultra-precision angle generator.
- 10. Presioen patroi nazionala.
- 11. Indexed pressure table for the IPQ (Portugal's oil primary laboratory).
- 12. TEKNIKER is part of the ESS Bilbao initiative, which aims to consolidate the installation of the European spallation neutron source in the Basque Country. If this project is confirmed, it would be a huge boost to R&D in a wide radius.
