The TEKNIKER technological centre is the only Spanish body able to offer comprehensive solutions for the design, construction and industrialisation of chambers for obtaining coatings by using phase vapour deposition (PVD) techniques and developing and optimising thin layer production processes.

TEKNIKER started designing and manufacturing PVD coatings in the 90s and, since then, has developed to a stage where we can offer: our own evaporators, expertise in both laboratory and industrial-scale processes, a wide range of coatings and physicochemical characteristics and high vacuum technology in line with the requirements of the chambers.

TEKNIKER has satisfied the needs of a wide range of applications and sectors:

• Metal mechanics (cutting tools, moulds and dies, self-lubricating components). 
• Aesthetics (furniture fittings, locks, cutlery, bathroom fittings and fixtures, decorative ceramics). 
• Medical (biocompatible coatings for prostheses). 
• We have also designed and built machines of different sizes for a variety of purposes:
  
  - Effective coating areas from 120x120 mm to 925x1200 mm.
  - Cathodic arc evaporation, "sputtering" and electron gun.
