Intelligent systems
Presentation
This activity aims to provide systems with capacities of perception and the ability to make decisions with a high degree of autonomy. If they are to attain this goal, the systems must possess all or some of the following capacities:
- Sensory capacity
- Capacity to reason and adapt to the context
- Capacity to communicate with other systems
- Capacity to relate with human beings in a natural fashion
- Capacity to act
The areas of research where these capacities are developed are:
- Artificial Vision
- Robotics
- Human-Machine Interaction
- Process Automation
- Automatic Learning
- Embedded Electronic Systems
- Sensor Networks and Power Harvesting
- Interoperability
- Information Analysis
- Visualisation of Information
