Our work with maintenance and reliability is carried out by a multidisciplinary research team that uses cutting-edge technologies and strategies to support industry in answering the growing need to develop high added value products and use existing resources in an efficient manner.

Our technological offer in this field focuses on offering companies support with their improvement actions related to the effective operation and maintenance of their machinery. We also provide support in developing high added value products, including increased reliability, availability and safety. Our services are based on over 25 years experience and know-how, especially that related with defining strategies and applying technologies for predictive maintenance.

Our services can be broken down into 4 interlinked areas of knowledge:

• Product reliability - Optimisation of reliability, availability, safety and cost, taking into account the life cycle of the product (development, operation- maintenance and end of life) by monitoring tailored to each case.
• Operating strategies - Optimisation of the operation and maintenance of plants, assets and fleets through the selective introduction of advanced maintenance technologies.
• Data acquisition - Development of sensors and data and text mining systems, and their application to products and processes.
• Diagnostics and prediction - Hardware and software technologies to automate diagnosis (current status of the components) and failure prediction (prediction of future or impending failures), thus facilitating maintenance decision making to anticipate incipient failures.
