Tekniker-IK4 has been a member of the Reliability Committee of the Spanish Quality Association (AEC) since 2003. This committee is a reference and principal forum in Spain for exchanging and promoting experiences in the field of Reliability (Dependability, Availability, Maintenance and Safety). One of its activities geared towards spreading Reliability Engineering is the organising of a national conference every year, and the thirteenth edition (13th Reliability Conference) is scheduled to be held this year.

Tekniker -IK4 regularly participates in this forum by exchanging experiences and presenting the activities of its Maintenance and Reliability Line in the ambit of Co-dependability with companies and in research projects. This year it will be giving a paper entitled A "Methodology for selecting cost-effective, predictive techniques."
